Before you go
- 1,800 runes.
- On Caelid's southern highway, reach Southern Aeonia Swamp Bank grace. Stay on the road rather than crossing the Scarlet Rot swamp.
- Follow the road southwest toward the fork near the Caelid map monument. Look beside the road for the merchant under a bare tree, with his campfire and pack animal.
- Speak to him and buy Greathelm for 1,800 runes. He stocks one copy. No boss fight or NPC invasion is required.
- If he has already died, offer Nomadic Merchant's Bell Bearing [10] to the Twin Maiden Husks and buy his remaining stock there for the same price. Buying from the living merchant is enough.
