Small Land Octopuses have a 0.5% base chance to drop it at 100 Discovery. The giant version does not drop this headpiece, so clearing only the largest octopus wastes farming time.
In-game description
A land octopus whelp worn directly on the head.
Has a lingering warmth reminiscent of human skin.
Those who can withstand the smell will find its organic elasticity excellent for negating strikes.
Where to find
Small Land Octopuses in the ravine
Liurnia of the Lakes
Starting Site of Grace: Ruin-Strewn Precipice
- Follow Liurnia's lake north into the long ravine beyond Bellum Church. Stay on the ravine floor toward the wooden platforms and ladders at its northern end, rather than climbing onto the highway above.
- Climb the initial ladders to reach Ruin-Strewn Precipice grace. Look around the nearby ravine and lower approach for the small Land Octopuses, keeping clear of the much larger ones while fighting.
- Kill the small octopuses, collect any dropped loot and rest to repeat. The huge octopuses do not drop Octopus Head, and you do not need to defeat Magma Wyrm Makar for this farm.
