About this armor
Increases Roar of Rugalea damage by 15% while worn. The spell is the Bear Communion incantation affected by this headpiece; it is obtained from the separate Rugalea boss in Rauh Base.
It does not increase ordinary Beast Claw attacks, Red Bear Hunt, every roar skill or Dragon Communion breaths. Looking like a bear does not give those attacks the same spell category.
The spell bonus works with either a charged or uncharged cast and can combine with other compatible incantation bonuses. Wearing the Iron Rivet pieces adds no extra bear effect.

In-game description
The pelt of Ralva the Great Red Bear, worn upon the head without modification.
Enhances incantations of what is jokingly called "Bear Communion."
This untreated hide, won at the end of a bloody bout, is just the thing to make a wild bear out of a warrior.

Starting Site of Grace: Highroad Cross
- To enter the Realm of Shadow, defeat Starscourge Radahn and Mohg, Lord of Blood, then touch the withered arm in Mohg's arena at Mohgwyn Palace.
- From Highroad Cross, follow the road north toward the Shadow Keep soldier camp. Turn east into the woods, toward the pond north of Moorth Ruins and east of the Scadu Altus map monument.
- Enter the woodland pond and defeat Ralva the Great Red Bear for Pelt of Ralva. The nearby clothing corpse is separate. Rugalea in Rauh Base and Red Bear inside the northern mausoleum give different rewards.
