Though in essence a whip with a cutting edge, it can also be used as a spear to pierce foes.

Starting Site of Grace: Manor Upper Level

At Caria Manor, follow the ground-level path through the Fingercreepers to the building with Manor Lower Level grace. The elevated walkways beyond lead to the lift and Manor Upper Level grace.
From Manor Upper Level, ride the lift back down and walk toward the elevated walkway. Before committing to the main walkway, look left for the lower rampart with a wooden ledge and a hanging corpse.
Drop onto that lower rampart, then follow the ramp down toward the southwest. Look left among the small Fingercreepers for the corpse holding Urumi.
Collect the weapon and move clear of the hands. Royal Knight Loretta is farther along the main route and does not have to be defeated for this pickup.

Notes

With Standard affinity, physical damage scales most strongly with Dexterity, with weaker Strength scaling.
Upgrade it with Smithing Stones. Its maximum upgrade is +25.
Can use compatible Ashes of War. Your choice of skill and the whetblades you've found determine which affinities you can apply.
Grease or a weapon enchantment can be applied while using an affinity that allows weapon buffs.
Requires 10 Strength and 19 Dexterity and weighs 3. Keen reaches S Dexterity scaling at maximum reinforcement, making Dexterity its clear Physical focus.
It deals Slash damage instead of the Strike damage used by ordinary leather and thorn whips. This changes which enemy defenses its hits are tested against.
The fully charged heavy begins with a sweep and extends into a long, straight thrust. The thrust still deals Slash damage, so its appearance does not make it eligible for a Physical Pierce counterhit bonus.
The charged heavy can land both parts at closer range, while the extended tip reaches beyond the opening sweep. Axe Talisman improves a fully charged attack.
Ordinary whip attacks cannot be parried, but can still be blocked. Urumi cannot perform backstabs or ripostes, so keep a separate critical weapon if needed.
Starts with Kick for no FP. Its blade-like appearance does not give it innate bleed; Occult alone adds no status, while Blood or Cold changes its role.
The lower rampart pickup does not require Royal Knight Loretta. It is separate from Sword of Night and Flame in another part of the manor.
