Where to find
Gravesite Plain
Starting Site of Grace: Cliffroad Terminus
Before you go
- To enter the Realm of Shadow, defeat Starscourge Radahn and Mohg, Lord of Blood, then touch the withered arm in Mohg's arena at Mohgwyn Palace.
- Enter the Realm of Shadow.
- Enter the Realm of Shadow after defeating Starscourge Radahn and Mohg, Lord of Blood, by touching the withered arm in Mohg's arena.
- From Gravesite Plain, follow the northern road past Scorched Ruins to Three-Path Cross. Take the western branch through the pass toward Belurat and Main Gate Cross.
- Before entering Belurat, take the narrow path south along the cliff wall. Follow it past the dogs and bats, staying on the path until you reach Cliffroad Terminus grace.
- Continue southeast past Prospect Town into the woodland. Go around the rocky rise beneath the Artist's Shack, toward the lightning sheep, then find the low cliffside passage guarded by rats.
- Follow the passage beneath the rock overhang. A Curseblade waits around the exit; deal with it or make room before attempting the narrow ledges.
- Use the ledges to descend toward Church of Benediction. Go around its northern side and loot the corpse hanging over the cliff for Pata and the four Oathseeker Knight pieces.
- The corpse is on the upper ridge, above the opening Gravesite Plain area. You cannot reach it by trying to climb the sheer cliff from the first grace.
Notes
- A Fist weapon requiring 11 Strength and 15 Dexterity. It weighs four; one copy provides the paired blades when used in both hands.
- Standard Physical damage favors Dexterity over Strength. Keen emphasizes Dexterity, while Heavy is a separate Strength option; elemental and status affinities change the relevant damage scaling.
- Its long blades give much more reach than the small fist weapons. It still uses Fist attacks and compatibility, rather than becoming a Straight Sword for Ashes of War.
- Its current critical rating is 110. That improves backstabs and ripostes, rather than giving every ordinary attack the same damage increase.
- The native Impaling Thrust costs nine FP. Its forward thrust pressures a raised guard; it is one of the unusual Fist weapons that has this skill naturally.
- Like Katar, it starts with Impaling Thrust even though the transferable Impaling Thrust Ash is not compatible with Fists. A replacement Ash removes access to that native skill while installed; removing the replacement restores it, rather than letting you freely pair Impaling Thrust with another affinity.
- Can use compatible Fist Ashes of War. Grease or a weapon enchantment can be applied with Standard, Heavy, Keen or Quality affinity; elemental and status affinities prevent ordinary coatings.
- Upgrades with regular Smithing Stones to +25. It has no innate Blood Loss or other status buildup, and is different from the pure Holy Cipher Pata.
- Found with the four Oathseeker Knight pieces on a fixed corpse. The outfit is not needed to equip the weapon or use its skill.
