Notes

• Requires 30 Strength and 10 Dexterity, and weighs 20. Standard favors Dexterity over Strength despite its size. Keen retains that Dexterity focus, Heavy moves the scaling to Strength and Occult makes Arcane the main physical scaling attribute.
• Upgrade with Smithing Stones to +25. Can use compatible Ashes of War. Grease or a weapon enchantment can be applied while using an affinity that allows weapon buffs.
• Endure is its starting skill and costs 9 FP. It briefly resists interruption and reduces incoming hit damage by 45% against enemies or 40% against players. It does not make you invulnerable or stop status buildup.
• On Keen, some independent projectile skills get a slightly smaller Dexterity-scaling contribution than on ordinary Keen weapons. This is separate from its melee scaling and does not affect every skill equally.
• This is a Colossal Weapon that deals Standard physical damage, rather than a Strike-damage great hammer or a weapon in the ordinary Greataxe category.
• It has no innate rot, bleed or other status effect. The Rotten version is a different weapon with its own guaranteed Snowfield pickup.
• Its critical rating is 100. Wearing Duelist clothing does not grant a hidden bonus to its damage.
• Farm the axe-wielding Duelist outside Leyndell's colosseum. Its base weapon drop chance is 4% at 100 Discovery, separate from the 3% rolls for each armor piece.
• Complete the farm before defeating Maliketh. The capital changes afterward and removes these enemies; the Snowfield's guaranteed Rotten reward does not replace this normal weapon.
• Its heavy attacks can be charged for a stronger hit. Axe Talisman improves a fully charged heavy attack, while Endure itself is a defensive skill rather than a charged attack.
