LocationBridge to Divine Tower of Limgrave

Limgrave

Starting Site of Grace: Limgrave Tower Bridge

Before you go

  • Reach Limgrave Tower Bridge through Stormveil Castle.
  1. After entering Stormveil, reach its main courtyard. The route toward the tower bridge leaves through the eastern shrine with the large knight statues, beside the Lion Guardian.
  2. Run through the shrine or deal with the lion, then activate Limgrave Tower Bridge grace on the far side. Godrick's defeat and an activated Great Rune are unnecessary for the bridge farm.
  3. Climb the stairs and approach the first two Golems on the bridge. Both carry halberds; the farther Golem has a greatbow and does not drop this weapon.
  4. Attack a halberd Golem's ankles to knock it down, then use the glowing opening on its chest for a critical attack. Keep track of the far archer, whose shots can also knock down the nearer Golems.
  5. Collect the defeated halberd carriers' drops, return to the grace and rest to repeat. This is a random-drop farm, so clearing the bridge once does not guarantee the weapon.

Notes

  • With Standard affinity, physical damage scales most strongly with Strength, with weaker Dexterity scaling.
  • Upgrade it with Smithing Stones. Its maximum upgrade is +25.
  • Can use compatible Ashes of War. Your choice of skill and the whetblades you've found determine which affinities you can apply.
  • Grease or a weapon enchantment can be applied while using an affinity that allows weapon buffs.
  • Requires 36 Strength and 14 Dexterity and weighs 21.5. Two-handing meets its Strength requirement at 24; Strength contributes more than Dexterity on Standard.
  • Despite the name, it belongs to the Colossal Weapon class. Its broad sweeping heavy attacks differ from the narrow chops of an ordinary halberd.
  • Starts with Charge Forth for 16 FP. This is an unusual built-in skill for a colossal weapon: its transferable Ash cannot be reapplied to this weapon.
  • Keeping Charge Forth means keeping Standard affinity. Applying a different compatible Ash lets you change affinity, but you cannot combine Heavy or another affinity with this original Charge Forth setup.
  • Its ordinary attacks deal Standard damage. The Pierce part shown in its attack types belongs to Charge Forth, so ordinary swings do not all receive a thrust-counter bonus.
  • The weapon has no built-in Fire or Magic damage, regardless of the attacks used by certain Golem enemies. Its ordinary swings have no innate status buildup.
  • Respawning halberd Golems have a 10% base weapon drop chance at 100 Item Discovery; non-respawning ones have 5%. Bow carriers have a different weapon reward.
