Starting Site of Grace: Waypoint Ruins Cellar

  1. From Agheel Lake North, cross the road bridge east of the lake and follow the road south toward Waypoint Ruins. Find the two-troll carriage on the road west of the ruins.
  2. Identify the Wandering Nobles carrying a thin thrusting sword. Defeat those carriers and collect their dropped loot. The carriage chest and troll drops are separate from the rare sword.
  3. For a nearby reset, enter the Waypoint Ruins cellar, defeat Mad Pumpkin Head and activate Waypoint Ruins Cellar. Rest there and return to the procession.
  4. You can also farm the outdoor group before opening the cellar and use another unlocked grace to reset. Joining Sellen's quest is unnecessary.

Notes

  • With Standard affinity, physical damage has equal Strength and Dexterity scaling.
  • Upgrade it with Smithing Stones. Its maximum upgrade is +25.
  • Can use compatible Ashes of War. Your choice of skill and the whetblades you've found determine which affinities you can apply.
  • Grease or a weapon enchantment can be applied while using an affinity that allows weapon buffs.
  • Requires 9 Strength and 10 Dexterity and weighs 3.5. That is lighter and easier to wield than the regular Estoc, which requires 11 Strength and 13 Dexterity.
  • Shares the regular Estoc's slashing heavy and charged-heavy attacks. Its light thrusts and Impaling Thrust skill still offer Pierce attacks; the broad heavy sweep is a different damage contact.
  • Starts with Impaling Thrust for 9 FP and has a normal 100 critical rating. The gold decoration does not grant Noble's Slender Sword's separate 110 critical rating.
  • The base chance is only 0.5% from the Wandering Nobles carrying this thrusting sword at 100 Item Discovery. Their clothing, torch and other weapon drops are separate rolls.
  • It sells for 1,000 runes, but the rare drop makes farming it for sale a poor source of income. Keep the first copy if you want to try the moveset or collect the weapon.
