Starting Site of Grace: Coastal Cave

  1. From Church of Elleh, ride west toward the coast and use the grassy slope down to the beach. Follow the ground downhill instead of jumping off the cliff above the shore.
  2. Find Coastal Cave in the cliff on the eastern side of the beach. Activate its entrance grace, then return outside.
  3. Look for the nearby group of four Demi-Humans. Defeat the two carrying curved swords and collect their drops; the other enemies are not additional Falchion rolls.
  4. Rest at Coastal Cave and repeat. The cave bosses and Boc's quest are unnecessary for this outdoor farm.

Notes

  • With Standard affinity, physical damage has equal Strength and Dexterity scaling.
  • Upgrade it with Smithing Stones. Its maximum upgrade is +25.
  • Can use compatible Ashes of War. Your choice of skill and the whetblades you've found determine which affinities you can apply.
  • Grease or a weapon enchantment can be applied while using an affinity that allows weapon buffs.
  • Requires 9 Strength and 13 Dexterity and weighs 3.5. Its Standard Strength and Dexterity scaling are equal, rather than having Shamshir's stronger Dexterity scaling.
  • Heavy provides a useful Strength-focused curved-sword option. Equal Standard scaling does not mean that Quality automatically gives the most damage at low attribute investment.
  • Starts with Spinning Slash: 6 FP for the opening spin and another 12 FP for the follow-up. Its ordinary attacks use the regular curved-sword pattern.
  • There is no innate Blood Loss. Its Slash damage and quick paired attacks do not provide a hidden status effect from the Demi-Humans that carried it.
  • Eligible Falchion-carrying Demi-Humans have a 2% base drop chance at 100 Item Discovery. Both shielded and unshielded carriers can drop it; the beach farm can supply two copies without a second journey.
