Where to find
Before you go
- Choose Warrior as your starting class.
- The Warrior starts with two Scimitars, so this class can use paired curved-sword attacks immediately.
Roundtable Hold
Starting Site of Grace: Table of Lost Grace
Before you go
- Have 600 runes.
- Visit the Twin Maiden Husks in Roundtable Hold and buy a Scimitar for 600 runes.
Limgrave
Starting Site of Grace: Deathtouched Catacombs
- From Saintsbridge in northern Limgrave, follow the road west uphill. Before the roadside camp, take the slope on your right to the higher cliffside ledge.
- Look for the double doors with a seated spirit beside them. Open the doors, go inside Deathtouched Catacombs and activate the grace.
- Descend toward the sealed boss door, then take the stairs to the left into the skeleton rooms. Hit fallen skeletons again while they begin glowing to stop them reassembling.
- Defeat the skeletons carrying curved swords, including the sword-and-shield carriers. Strike their glowing remains before they rebuild themselves, then collect any dropped loot.
- Rest at the entrance grace and repeat. The sword is a random enemy drop; the boss and the Uchigatana corpse are separate rewards.
Notes
- With Standard affinity, physical damage scales most strongly with Dexterity, with weaker Strength scaling.
- Upgrade it with Smithing Stones. Its maximum upgrade is +25.
- Can use compatible Ashes of War. Your choice of skill and the whetblades you've found determine which affinities you can apply.
- Grease or a weapon enchantment can be applied while using an affinity that allows weapon buffs.
- Requires 7 Strength and 13 Dexterity and weighs 3. It is lighter than Shamshir, which weighs 3.5, but its shorter blade gives up some reach.
- Its one-handed and two-handed light chains share Shamshir's flowing steps. The extra forward movement helps close a small gap; it does not give the weapon a special bleed effect.
- Starts with Spinning Slash. The opening spin costs 6 FP, with another 12 FP for the follow-up input. Leave room for the follow-up rather than spending all your stamina on the opening attack.
- Warrior starts with two copies, while the Twin Maiden Husks sell one for 600 runes regardless of class. Other classes can farm another from eligible curved-sword skeletons.
- The skeleton drop chance is 2% at 100 Item Discovery. Archer skeletons are not the targets for this sword, and the weapon has no innate Blood Loss.
