Where to find
Weeping Peninsula
Starting Site of Grace: Tombsward
- From Tombsward, climb toward the western Minor Erdtree and find the Erdtree Guardians around it. These are the masked enemies carrying long swordspears.
- Defeat the weapon carriers and check their drops. Rest at a nearby grace and repeat until one drops Guardian's Swordspear. The Erdtree Avatar is not required for this farm.
- Collect each defeated Guardian's drops and return to Tombsward to reset. The weapon is a random drop, separate from the mask and clothing.
Dragonbarrow
Starting Site of Grace: Dragonbarrow Fork
- Start at Dragonbarrow Fork in northeastern Caelid. Follow the slope southeast toward the Minor Erdtree and look for the small masked guardians along the path.
- Target the guardians, collect their glowing drops and leave the large Erdtree Avatar alone if you only want armor.
- Collect the Guardians' drops for a chance at the swordspear. Rest at Dragonbarrow Fork to reset; the Avatar and Full Bloom clothing are unrelated to this weapon farm.
Notes
- With Standard affinity, physical damage scales most strongly with Dexterity, with weaker Strength scaling.
- Upgrade it with Smithing Stones. Its maximum upgrade is +25.
- Can use compatible Ashes of War. Your choice of skill and the whetblades you've found determine which affinities you can apply.
- Grease or a weapon enchantment can be applied while using an affinity that allows weapon buffs.
- Requires 17 Strength and 16 Dexterity and weighs 9. Dexterity provides nearly all of its Standard scaling, despite its place in the halberd class.
- Keen removes Strength scaling entirely and gives very strong Dexterity scaling. Extra effective Strength from two-handing therefore does not improve its Keen blade attack power, though two-handing still changes your attacks.
- Its fast upward-sweeping light attacks differ from the ordinary halberd chop or thrust chains. Loretta's War Sickle shares this style but has a different fixed skill and Magic damage.
- Starts with Spinning Slash for 6 FP and a 12-FP follow-up. Its golden appearance does not add Holy damage or prevent compatible skills and affinities.
- It has no innate Poison or bleed. The clouds and root attacks used by certain Guardians are not automatically part of the player weapon.
- The base drop chance is 2% at 100 Item Discovery. The special Full Bloom armor cutoff in Leyndell does not make the swordspear missable, since Guardians elsewhere also drop it.
