Starting Site of Grace: Castle Front
Before you go
- To enter the Realm of Shadow, defeat Starscourge Radahn and Mohg, Lord of Blood, then touch the withered arm in Mohg's arena at Mohgwyn Palace.
- Access the Realm of Shadow.
- From Castle Front, cross the northeastern bridge toward Castle Ensis. Pass or defeat the Troll Knight at the far end, then climb the large stairs on the left.
- Follow the path left at the top. Soldiers and dogs wait around the fires and stairway, so draw them out before climbing farther.
- Take the stairway on the left beside the first campfire, then climb the ladder in the small watchtower. Open the chest at the top for Milady.
- This is the early tower near the entrance. The separate tower reached by dropping from Castle-Lord's Chamber contains Wing Stance instead.
Notes
- Requires 12 Strength and 17 Dexterity and weighs 6.5. With Standard affinity, Physical damage scales more strongly with Dexterity than Strength.
- This is a Light Greatsword, a separate class from ordinary Greatswords. Its quicker combinations and paired heavy-attack hits are part of that moveset.
- The heavy-attack combinations can land more than one hit. Each hit must connect to contribute damage or status buildup, so do not treat a two-hit animation as a guaranteed double hit.
- It has no innate blood loss or Frostbite and has a critical rating of 100. Add an appropriate affinity or compatible weapon buff if you want status buildup.
- Impaling Thrust is its starting skill and costs 9 FP. Wing Stance is a separate Ash found later in Castle Ensis, rather than the skill already fitted to the tower pickup.
- Can use compatible Ashes of War. Keen emphasizes Dexterity, Heavy emphasizes Strength, and other affinities can change its elemental damage and scaling.
- Grease or a weapon enchantment can be applied while using an affinity that allows weapon buffs. Elemental and status affinities usually remove that option.
- Upgrade it with Smithing Stones to +25. The early tower chest can be reached before the checkpoint gate detour or Rellana.
