Starting Site of Grace: Cliffroad Terminus

Before you go

  • To enter the Realm of Shadow, defeat Starscourge Radahn and Mohg, Lord of Blood, then touch the withered arm in Mohg's arena at Mohgwyn Palace.
  1. From Three-Path Cross in Gravesite Plain, take the western rocky passage to Main Gate Cross outside Belurat.
  2. Follow the cliff path southeast and then south from Main Gate Cross to Cliffroad Terminus and activate its grace. Continue south toward the broken buildings of Prospect Town.
  3. From Cliffroad Terminus, head south into Prospect Town. Use the broken stairs and pillars to climb through the ruined buildings on Torrent.
  4. Find the Bloodfiends carrying the long fork-shaped spear and defeat them. Check their dropped items for Bloodfiend's Fork.
  5. This is a random drop. Return to Cliffroad Terminus, rest, and repeat the fork carriers if needed. The club carriers drop a different weapon.

Notes

  • Requires 14 Strength, 8 Dexterity and 13 Arcane and weighs 4.5. Standard physical damage scales most strongly with Strength, with a useful Arcane contribution and very little Dexterity scaling.
  • Has 50 base blood loss buildup before Arcane and reinforcement scaling. Its innate Arcane scaling means Arcane can improve both the physical damage and the bleed. This is different from a bleed weapon with no Arcane scaling.
  • It retains some Arcane scaling on buffable physical affinities, including Heavy. Blood, Poison and Soporific Grease can therefore gain additional buildup from Arcane when applied to this weapon. That does not make fixed Frostbite or Scarlet Rot buildup scale with Arcane.
  • Occult shifts damage further toward Arcane while keeping innate bleed. Blood instead supplies a different, larger bleed setup. Compare the direct damage and buildup together rather than assuming the highest displayed bleed number always gives the best result.
  • Starts with Barbaric Roar, costing 16 FP for a temporary physical-damage buff and altered heavy attacks. Its altered attacks have their own contact values; a multi-hit animation is not a promise of several full normal hits' buildup.
  • Can use compatible Ashes of War and affinities. Grease or a weapon enchantment can be applied while using an affinity that allows weapon buffs. Upgrade with Smithing Stones to +25.
  • The fork-carrying Bloodfiends have a base 3% drop chance at 100 Discovery. The upper Prospect Town club carrier's guaranteed Bloodfiend's Arm is a separate reward and does not make the fork guaranteed.
  • This is also separate from Bloodfiend's Sacred Spear. Identify the fork carrier before repeating the farm, collect the dropped items and rest at Cliffroad Terminus to reset.
