Notes

• Requires 10 Strength and 16 Dexterity and weighs 3.0. Its Standard physical damage favors Dexterity, with a smaller Strength contribution. Keen is an option for a focused Dexterity build.
• The first heavy attack hits twice whether charged or uncharged. The second heavy hits twice when fully charged but only once when uncharged. Both parts must reach the enemy for the full damage and status benefit.
• The double slash moves you forward, giving it a different feel from a stationary straight-sword thrust. Allow room for that movement near an edge or an attack you were trying to stay outside.
• Its Keen affinity uses slightly weaker Dexterity scaling for some independent skill projectiles than comparable Keen weapons. That is separate from its ordinary sword damage, so a strong Keen attack rating does not guarantee the strongest Thunderbolt or Beast's Roar.
• It has no innate bleed despite the talon theme. Blood, Poison or Cold can add their matching status, while Occult alone does not create bleed. Multiple heavy contacts also have their own buildup values rather than always being two full ordinary hits.
• Starts with Spinning Slash, costing 6 FP for the first part and another 12 FP for the follow-up. It uses weapon contact, so your weapon damage and status setup matter for the hits.
• Can use compatible Ashes of War and affinities. Grease or a weapon enchantment can be applied while using an affinity that allows weapon buffs. Upgrade with Smithing Stones to +25.
• The bladed Warhawks in Stormveil have a base 2% drop chance at 100 Discovery. The birds immediately outside Rampart Tower make a short repeatable farm. Watch the explosive barrels and collect the dropped loot before resetting.
