Starting Site of Grace: Agheel Lake South
Before you go
- Have Torrent available to jump the cellar's surrounding wall.
- From Agheel Lake South, ride north into the southern part of the lake toward Dragon-Burnt Ruins. Stay clear of the dragon if it appears; its defeat is unnecessary.
- Go to Dragon-Burnt Ruins in southern Agheel Lake. Find the small enclosed ruin at the southeastern side.
- Use Torrent to jump over its wall and reach the cellar stairs. Go down and open the chest for the Twinblade.
- Use this enclosed cellar, rather than the other cellar filled with rats. The rat-filled cellar's chest teleports you to Sellia Crystal Tunnel.
Notes
- With Standard affinity, physical damage scales most strongly with Dexterity, with weaker Strength scaling.
- Upgrade it with Smithing Stones. Its maximum upgrade is +25.
- Can use compatible Ashes of War. Your choice of skill and the whetblades you've found determine which affinities you can apply.
- Grease or a weapon enchantment can be applied while using an affinity that allows weapon buffs.
- Requires 10 Strength and 18 Dexterity and weighs 7. Dexterity is slightly stronger on Standard, though an affinity can change the damage focus.
- This is one double-ended weapon, not a pair of separate swords. Two-handing it unlocks its spinning multi-hit moveset; one-handed attacks leave the other hand free for a shield or casting tool.
- Its multi-hit strings can build consecutive-hit bonuses. Keep close enough for the small opening hits to land instead of assuming only the final large swing matters.
- It has no innate bleed. Blood or Poison adds buildup, while Occult alone gives Arcane-based Physical damage without creating bleed.
- Starts with Spinning Slash for 6 FP and a 12-FP follow-up. Neither the ordinary two-handed spinning attacks nor the skill require owning two Twinblades.
- The correct Dragon-Burnt Ruins chest is in the enclosed southeastern cellar. The rat-filled cellar contains the transporter trap, and its destination has no connection to this weapon reward.
- Flying Dragon Agheel can be avoided. The chest is available early once you can reach its enclosed courtyard with Torrent.
