Notes

• Requires 17 Strength and nine Dexterity, and weighs 10. Standard scaling leans toward Strength, while Heavy removes Dexterity scaling. Knight's Greatsword leans more toward Dexterity instead.
• Its two-handed light combo uses the flowing, more vertical sequence shared with Knight's Greatsword and Inseparable Sword. This differs from the usual wide greatsword light swings and can help in tighter spaces.
• The special light combo does not replace every attack. One-handed attacks, heavy attacks and a chosen Ash of War still have their own motions and damage.
• Stamp (Upward Cut) costs five FP to brace and another eight for its strong-attack follow-up. Meet the weapon requirements and leave enough FP for both parts if you want the full attack.
• The sword-and-shield knight outside Cathedral of Dragon Communion has a 4% base sword chance at 100 Discovery. His shield and armor are separate drops.
• The dual-sword knights in later areas have two separate sword rolls. They can provide two copies, but their greater danger makes the early cathedral knight a simpler repeat target.
• Upgrade it with ordinary Smithing Stones to +25. Its critical rating is the normal 100.
• Can use compatible Ashes of War. Grease or a weapon enchantment can be applied while using an affinity that allows weapon buffs; elemental and status affinities normally prevent those coatings.
